You may have a legal cause of action against another party in which you need to assert your legal rights in a court of law.  At Eckinger Law Offices, Ltd., we have experience in the litigation of civil matters in many areas of law, such as breach of contract, unjust enrichment, negligence, employment discrimination, will contests and other probate-related lawsuits, interference with inheritance, workplace injury, shareholder disputes, debt collection, etc.  We will thoroughly analyze the facts of your case, your rights and responsibilities under the law, and potential defenses to litigation.

Our attorneys have experience with litigation in numerous Ohio courts and have had a number of recent successes.  As a brief example of our attorneys experience, in 2016 Eckinger Law Offices, Ltd. represented a builder/seller of real property in a Stark County lawsuit.  In that case, the buyer was seeking damages in excess of $180,000 and alleged fraudulent concealment, fraudulent inducement, negligent misrepresentation, and other claims.  Our attorneys successfully obtained dismissal of the lawsuit against our clients prior to trial.  That same year, our attorneys also obtained summary judgment on behalf of an employer in a disability discrimination lawsuit.  Our attorneys have represented estates, trusts and beneficiaries in probate litigation. Eckinger Law has represented clients in multi million-dollar probate litigation involving claims of undue influence, lack of mental capacity and breach of fiduciary duties.

Our attorneys have also successfully defended cases on appeal before several Ohio appellate districts, including the Fifth and Eleventh.

At Eckinger Law Offices, Ltd., we believe in keeping the client informed and intimately involved in their case.   We will advise you and work with you to obtain a settlement outside of the courthouse, if possible, but if an acceptable settlement cannot be achieved, we will utilize our trial experience to maximize your chances for success in the most cost effective manner.
